Mafia is a game of adventure and action, set in the 1930s, in a world controlled by the Mafia in the USA. Just by starting you meet Tommy, a simple taxi driver, who soon changes his life when he starts working for the Mafia.

Starting as a chauffeur, Tommy soon realizes it's much easier making money in his new life than as a taxi driver. Then he discovers that his job is getting more complex and has to hold his nerve whilst completing less agreeable jobs.

Together with Tommy, in Mafia, you can explore more than two thousand blocks of a typical US city of the 1930s, in which everything is perfectly recreated with excellent graphic detail, following the patterns of old buildings and photos of the period very closely.

Throughout the game you have to complete more than twenty missions full of action, in which you find chases, contraband, shoot-outs, killings, etc. To achieve your objectives you have twelve weapons, each more dangerous than the last. Follow the story presented in Mafia via the dialogues of the characters, and at all costs make sure you don't become a target for the Mafia yourself.
